How to fix Fortnite Servers not responding

The “Server not responding” error is one of the most common problems the game faces during major updates. The error message suggests a server outage or start of a maintenance period. Players can’t use any game services during this period.

You can check the server status on the Epic Games’ website. The site shows server’s health and if there is a maintenance in process. It will keep you updated with the timestamps of latest problems and fixes in the game.

They suspended matchmaking 30 minutes before the downtime. According to Epic Games, it’s a scheduled maintenance and is in-progress.
