Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life finally arrived yesterday, pushing the player into an exaggerated cross between Sea of Thieves and Pirates of the Caribbean. In “Pirate’s Life”, both new and old pirates have many tasks and stories to be solved. One of the tasks given to the player is to find the Headless Monkey Captain journals. Simply put, players need to do a lot of work before entering their location.
Many of them revolve around helping poor Dougie and finding Captain Bones Special Recipe. Fortunately, it generated a lot of commendations along the way. Once the player opens the bridge to the headless monkey shipwreck in the Sailor’s Grave, they can use this guide to find the location of the five Headless Monkey Captain journals.
Headless Monkey Journal 1 – ‘Somewhere in the Caribbean’ – When boarding the shipwreck of the headless monkey, players can find the first Journal next to the wheel, and there is a skeleton next to it. The skeleton has the key to the cabin, so it’s worth grabbing while you are here.
Headless Monkey Journal 2 – ‘Raising the Mad Monkey’ – The second journal is right behind the first one, tucked against the mast.
Headless Monkey Journal 3 – ‘A Headless Monkey’ – It is possible that sharp-eyed Sea of Thieves fans saw this when they first boarded. Otherwise, the diary is placed next to a lit lantern, and both can be found under a broken mast in the middle of the sunken ship.
Headless Monkey Journal 4 – ‘A Fateful Pursuit’ – The last two need the previous cabin key, so keep it handy. The cabin door is on the opposite side of the ship, on the table inside, the Journal is sandwiched between the map and the lantern.
Headless Monkey Journal 5 – ‘Fresh Waters’ – This last journal is only at a few distance from the previous one, on a nearby bookshelf.
