Relationships are important in the superhero world of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. That is why it is critical that you spend time leveling your friendship with other heroes. That way they can accompany you in fights and improve your overall fighting prowess. And, while most of us are aware of dialogue and hanging out with our superhero friends to increase their friendship level, Havens can be a confusing aspect of this mechanic. That is why, in this guide, we will explain what Havens are and how to use them. So keep reading to find out!
How to Use Havens in Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Activating Havens in Marvel’s Midnight Suns will trigger a “hangout” with a superhero at your will. Each Haven you find can only be used once, and the same goes for the superhero you use them on. That is why it’s critical to keep your Havens and use them only at appropriate times, as they can significantly increase your friendship level with a superhero. Most of the time, you want to wait, only using a Haven once you have a rare gift that’s a perfect fit for a certain superhero.
That way, you can give the gift to them during your hangout for bonus friendship points. However, there is more to Havens than just gifting. Havens are not like a hangout, where it appears at random and the hero gives you three possible hangout activities. You must select an activity with Havens. Furthermore, if you select the incorrect activity (one that the hero dislikes), you will receive no activity bonus points.
And the only way to boost friendship points with a hero during a Haven is through an activity bonus, gift bonus, and conversation bonus. So, every time you use a Haven, you’ll want to make sure you’re hitting the mark on the activity and gift bonus, at the very least. For the conversation bonus, well that entirely depends on your dialogue choices during the Haven.
