One of the PC’s greatest failings is that we by no means noticed the bombastic Lollipop Chainsaw make its method over right here. It was a wonderfully first rate game, not groundbreaking or genre-defining by any stretch of the creativeness. But it was so extremely enjoyable. Full of iconic, witty moments that I nonetheless quote to this present day. It’s been 10 years since Juliet and her decapitated boyfriend Nick slashed and sawed their method by way of zombie hordes, and I’m getting my hopes up for a long-overdue PC port.
That’s as a result of Yoshimi Yasuda, former CEO of Kadokawa Games, has introduced that the sequence is “back” underneath his new studio Dragami Games (thanks, VGC). He did not specify underneath what circumstances the game would return, merely tweeting: “Lolipop Chainsaw is back by Dragami Games. Please look forward to it.” As all the time, I’m already anticipating my PC port goals coming to life. Whether or not it’s a sequel, remaster or remake, hopefully Juliet’s daft adventures will not be restricted to console this time round.
With different Yasuda video games like Killer is Dead and Root Letter discovering completely satisfied properties on Steam, it is not too wild a thought that Lollipop Chainsaw might ultimately be part of them.
