According to dataminers, some big changes could be coming to Apex Legends. If you were to jump into a game today, you might notice … something’s different. It would appear that the crafting replicators have changed color — normally, they’re more of an orange, but now … they’re golden. So, what’s all this about? Here’s how to nab yourself a Golden Ticket just in time for a mysterious event in just a week’s time.

It should first be noted what the Golden Ticket is. It would appear that the ticket will allow those holding it to “see the future home of the Apex Games,” according to the descriptive text. So, if you were doubting how important it is for you to get one if you’re a dedicated Apex Legends enthusiast, doubt no more.

In order to nab a Golden Ticket for yourself, you’ll have to craft it — of course! You’ll need 125 crafting materials, which may necessitate landing somewhere where you can gather materials uninterrupted. As soon as you have everything you need, go hunting for a crafting replicator, and the option to craft the Golden Ticket should be available to you. It’s important to keep in mind also that you’ll net yourself a Fully-Kitted legendary weapon when you craft the Golden Ticket, so … do what you will with that information!

So, once you’ve secured the elusive, golden, relic, you’ll notice that you have a new — albeit locked, as of writing — mode available: A New Home. It would seem that this new mode will be inaccessible until Oct. 19, at which point it’ll open, but only to those who have taken the time to secure a Golden Ticket. So, you have a limited time — get crafting!
