Horizon Forbidden West Finish Elusive Fanghorn contract | How to

Larend has one more contract for you to complete. Larend has his sights set on a Fanghorn that his men can’t seem to track down and take. To complete the job, you should monitor down this machine. In Horizon Forbidden West, this is how you complete the Elusive Fanghorn contract.

After obtaining the contract, proceed south of Larend’s position to the nearby riverbed. You’ll see that there are several paths you might take. Examine the footprints until you find ones belonging to the Fanghorn. Trace it with your Focus by holding down R3 and tapping R1 to highlight the tracks.

Follow the paths along the river’s edge until you reach the Fanghorn, which is perched on a nearby cliff. Your next task will be to assassinate the Fanghorn. This isn’t as difficult as you would think. When you get the Fanghorn running and chase it for a while, it follows a rather predictable course.
To help with the steady descent, use a tripcaster or ice arrows. You can even summon a horse if you need the extra speed to capture the Fanghorn. Return to Larend once it’s no longer alive as your prize.
