Season 19 is an exciting one for fans of Destiny 2. That’s because Season 19 is bringing back the Rose Hand Cannon. Originally introduced in the Season of Opulence, this was a highlight weapon before Bungie quickly decided it was time to vault it. However, now that it’s returning, many players are eager to get their hands on it, and are curious as to how to do so. If you’re just as excited to get the legendary weapon yourself, this guide will tell you exactly how.
How to Get the Rose Hand Cannon in Destiny 2
To get the Rose Hand Cannon in Destiny 2, you need to complete the Competitive Division intro quest. This can be completed once per character. When you complete the quest, you’ll get a drop of the Rose with its original perks. After you complete this, you will get weekly Competitive Division challenges to earn another random roll of the Rose Hand Cannon. This applies to each of your three characters, so you have the potential to earn three rolls per week.
That means you have a chance to earn three, random rolled versions of the Rose, each week, among your three characters. Evidently, this version of the Rose Hand Cannon in season 19 of Destiny 2 will include random rolled grips instead of an Origin Trait. As it was before, the Rose Hand Cannon will play as Hybrid, firing like a 140 RPM Hand Cannon, but with the movement of a 150 RPM Hand Cannon. Essentially, it will blend the two stats.
Its perk list will contain popular consistency perks, designed to highlight 3v3 play. So, you can suspect it to get other perks that current 150 RPM Hand Cannons feature in the game, such as Opening Shot and Thresh. However, there’s also the addition of the new perks for Season 19, which could potentially also act as perks for the legendary weapon.
