Fortnite characters are the people you meet during Battle Royale, because these NPCs not only have useful weapons and items that can be delivered with the missions and services they provide, but they also participate in many missions this season. They are not completely clustered, which means that if you need to interact with multiple of them, you may have to go a long way.
Currently 22 Fortnite characters can be found on the island, and you can track the characters you have encountered so far by visiting the Collections tab. Except for Joey and Kymera, they only spawn in specific locations, as in the map.
Note that if another player has hired or eliminated the character, then that will be removed from that location. When you get close to one, you will know because you will see a speech bubble icon on the map and on the screen above their head.
