To reach the Claw Viper Temple, you have to find the Valley of Snakes in the desert area that is beyond the Lost City which is the entrance of the temple. If you have activated the Far Oasis route, make sure you get to the Lost City entrance by exploring the map.
As soon as you see a Fire tower attacking you, continue on the track and as you finally get the “To the Claw ViperTemple Level1” message, go ahead and enter it.
Inside the Claw Viper Temple you can find the Tainted Sun Altar in Act 2 and destroying it will be your main objective in the Tainted Sun quest. As we said before it will be well guarded with monster’s so be ready.
When the altar is destroyed you will see some rays of light which means the perpetual eclipse is over and now you can get the Amulet of the Viper to make the Horadric Staff.
