Description

Blur (adapted as blur) is an arcade dashing computer game discharged on May 2010 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was created by Bizarre Creations and distributed by Activision in North America and Europe. The game highlights a hustling style that fuses genuine vehicles and regions with arcade style dealing with and vehicular battle. Blur was the penultimate game created by Bizarre Creations before they were closed somewhere near Activision on February 18, 2011.

The game can be played with up to four players in split screen, and the game can be taken online for a limit of 20 players over the web, or over LAN in the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 adaptations. In a custom game, alternatives can be set before each match that decide the design of catalysts, vehicle classes, number of laps, and the track to race. A match type called “World Tour” is basically a snappy play alternative for players who need to hop into a match. Here, each player is given an irregular vehicle and tossed into an arbitrary arrangement of courses with a standard ruleset.

Reviews

Blur isn’t the addictive, competitive online game that people wanted it to be. Rather, Blur is a palate-cleansing game, the type of experience you pop in for a few minutes with your friends when you’re looking for a break between sessions of a game you really like marathoning.

78% PC Gamer

PC optimization issues and lack of peripheral support aside, Blur is the sweetest car combat game in years.

Thankfully, the lame split-screen mode and unremarkable visuals won’t keep you from enjoying this exciting racing game. The odd combination of Mario Kart and PGR is surprisingly fun, and the added rewards system makes it extremely difficult to put this racer down.
