Biomutant
Biomutant

At the beginning of the adventure, you will face the color decision at the crossroads of Biomutant. Here, you must choose between “I’m Dark Red, as in strength and power” or “Color me Light Blue, for freedom and loyalty”. But what does this crossroad choice mean? Which one should you choose?

In short, the choice is not very important. It will not determine which approach you will take at the crossroads, but will provide you with some points of light or dark halo. These auras are essentially the moral system of the game. If you want to be a “good” creature in the world, you must choose “Color me Light Blue, for freedom and loyalty”. If you want to be the “bad” creature in the world, you must choose “I’m Dark Red, as in strength and power”.

It’s worth mentioning that the choices you make here will not lock you into that kind of morality for the rest of the game. Instead, it only gives you +2 light or dark halo points, depending on whether you choose light blue or dark red.

After making a choice based on the color of Biomutant Crossroads, there will be two small Aura pixies who have some back and forth responses to morality, which one should listen to. Once they’ve finished talking, you can choose to take either path at the crossroads.

The aura affects the dialogue and the way certain characters you know perceive you. PSI mutations (also known as PSI power) (read: abilities) are also locked after meeting certain Aura requirements. For example, to unlock PSI-Power Sizzle, you must have a dark halo of 10.

That’s everything you need to know to make the right choice for you at the Biomutant crossroads color decision.
